Intensive Outpatient and Residential* Neurological Rehabilitation Centre – Leeds

In April 2018, MOTIONrehab launched the UK’s first intensive outpatient neurological rehabilitation centre augmented by Robotics and Virtual Reality. The clinic based at Asquith House, Leeds offers specialist one-to-one hands-on therapy from experienced and highly skilled clinicians and uniquely MOTIONrehab clients will also spend time receiving high intensity specialist rehabilitation training  with robotic and virtual reality devices, individually and in groups. The centre includes a range of both upper and lower limb devices including the complete TYROSOLUTION and THERA-Trainer LYRA Robotic Gait Trainer. This allows patients to practice high repetitions of movements which is critical to neuroplasticity and the optimisation of outcomes.

MOTIONrehab’s Intensive Rehabilitation Programmes include 80 hours of neurological rehabilitation over 4-7 weeks dependant on the outcome of your clients initial assessment. MOTIONrehab recognises that everybody is different and may come to us at different stages of their rehabilitation and have different goals. Therefore, MOTIONrehab have three high-intensity rehabilitation options and you will be advised which is the most clinically appropriate following the initial assessment.

Initial Needs Assessments

MOTIONrehab accepts instructions to perform Initial Needs Assessments for Neurological Rehabilitation for clients with ongoing litigation or after the settlement of their case.

The team at MOTIONrehab understand the complexities of the medico legal process and have years of experience working in the medico legal sector. We understand that matching a client with the right therapist is paramount. We therefore, work with our instructing Case Managers, their clients and families to identify the most appropriate member of our team to help with the rehabilitation process. If required we are happy to undertake a ‘meet and greet’ to help establish the relationship between therapist and client.

We will perform a comprehensive assessment to identify an individual’s rehabilitation needs. Following the assessment, we will provide a detailed report with associated costs detailing the neurological rehabilitation treatment plan supported by SMART Goal Planning. This will include identifying and recommending appropriate rehabilitation technology or additional equipment required by your client to achieve their full potential.
