MOTIONrehab are pleased to announce our services will remain open.

On 31st October 2020 the Government announced a second ‘national lockdown’ to commence on Thursday 5th November 2020. The new restrictions require people to stay at home, except for specific purposes which includes attending medical appointments. Consequently, after reviewing the latest Government guidelines and the information from our Professional Body, MOTIONrehab are pleased to confirm that our services will remain open to provide essential rehabilitation services.

It remains our priority to mitigate the risks of Covid-19 to allow you to continue your rehabilitation as safely as possible. Consequently, MOTIONrehab will continue to instigate our robust infection prevention and control measures, including PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) that have been successfully implemented since reopening in June 2020. In addition, we are constantly reviewing all of our Covid-19 policies and updating them as necessary in line with guidance from Public Health England and NHS England to maximise your safety.

We will continue to offer the following services to support your rehabilitation:

  1. Virtual Appointments

We will continue to offer remote consultations. To participate you will require an internet enabled device. Your therapist will send a secure link to a video calling platform prior to the scheduled appointment for you to ‘meet’ with your physiotherapist. Please contact our office to arrange a remote session.

  1. Clinic-Based Appointments

Our clinics in Leeds, Hull and York will remain open. Unfortunately, our other clinics are located in leisure centres will be closed by the Government. MOTIONrehab are than happy to accommodate your appointment at an alternative clinic if required, please contact the administration team to book into an alternative clinic.

  1. Home Visit Appointments

We will continue to offer home visits across the region.

  1. Nursing or Residential Home Appointments

Physiotherapy sessions in Nursing or Residential homes will continue to be determined on a case by case basis in partnership with the individual home and joint risk assessments.
