Neurological Physiotherapist

Aoife Caulfield graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University in 2015. She began her career as a rotational Physiotherapist in the NHS, working at two Major Trauma Centres in Coventry and Birmingham. Her journey within the NHS exposed her to a diverse range of specialties, including Trauma & Orthopaedics, Respiratory Medicine, Burns & Plastics, and Neurology, spanning from Neuro-Intensive Care to Neurological Outpatients.

Aoife discovered her true passion for working with people with neurological conditions early in her career. Seeking to enhance her expertise in Neurology, she moved to Australia, where she trained under Melissa McConaghy, the founder of PD Warrior. This experience proved transformative as Aoife became a certified PD Warrior course instructor in 2023, as well as an online PD Warrior Coach.

Currently working as a Neurological Physiotherapist at MOTIONrehab in Doncaster, Aoife assesses and treats complex neurological conditions in both clinical and community settings. She is passionate in delivering high-intensity rehabilitation and uses advanced robotic technology to enhance her rehabilitation approach. Drawing from her extensive experience in Orthopaedics, Aoife integrates this expertise into her approach when treating neurological conditions. Recognizing the shared challenges between the two realms, she creates personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. Aoife is committed to empowering her clients to learn how to self-manage their condition and motivates them to achieve their goals.

Aoife is based at MOTIONrehab in Doncaster.
