Today the MOTIONrehab team are exhibiting at the Bush and Company Annual Conference 2018 at Aston Villa Football Club in Birmingham.
This year’s conference is titled ‘Breaking the pain barrier: Improving outcomes in pain management’.
MOTIONrehab will be spending time meeting with Case Managers and Healthcare professionals promoting best practice in high-intensity/high-dose neurological rehabilitation following the launch of MOTIONrehab Leeds, the UK’s first Intensive Outpatient & Residential* Neurological Rehabilitation Facility augmented by Robotics and Virtual Reality. The centre includes a range of upper and lower limb robotics and virtual reality technology. The MOTIONrehab centre is the only location within UK with all of these particular devices, giving the clinic International Reference Centre Status for treatment, teaching and research.
The new concept offers patients specialist one to one hands-on therapy from experienced and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team. Uniquely, MOTIONrehab clients also spend time training with the robotic and virtual reality devices individually and in groups. This allows patients to practice high repetitions of movements which is critical to neuro-plasticity and the optimisation of outcomes.
MOTIONrehab’s Intensive Rehabilitation Programmes includes 80 hours of neurological rehabilitation over 4-7 weeks dependant on the outcome of your assessment. MOTIONrehab recognise that everybody is different and may come to us at different stages of their rehabilitation. Therefore, MOTIONrehab have three high-intensity rehabilitation options and you will be advised which is the most clinically appropriate.
