Neurological Physiotherapist

Kathryn is a Neurological Physiotherapist who graduated with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Kings College London and has significant experience working in neurological rehabilitation. Kathyrn is driven by seeing her treatment making tangible improvements to her patients.

Kathryn has worked within Barts and the London NHS Trust, Northwick Park Hospital, North West London Hospitals NHS Trust. She has worked on the Regional Rehabilitation Unit and Stroke Unit at Northwick Park Hospital and spent nine years as a Specialist Physiotherapist before moving to York in 2012 to be with her family and taking up the post with MOTIONrehab®.

Kathryn has experience in treating a wide range of complex neurological conditions such as Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries and Parkinson’s Disease. Kathryn uses modern techniques such as Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for Dropped Foot, muscle stimulation for the upper and lower limb, and splinting and casting for upper and lower limbs in combination with traditional ‘hands on’ therapy to help patients meet their goals.

Kathryn is based at our MOTIONrehab® York clinic.
