Neurological Physiotherapist

Libby McWilliam graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University in 2010. Immediately obtaining a post within the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, where Libby gained varied experience in areas such as Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Trauma Orthopaedics, Intensive Care and Cardio Thoracic Surgery. Libby then went on to pursue her interest in Neurology. Since 2013 Libby has been a senior physiotherapist within neurological specialities including Neurosurgery, Neuro Rehabilitation, Acute Neurology and Stroke.

Libby has a holistic approach to her work, ensuring patient goals are at the forefront of her therapy sessions while using evidence based practice. She has a special interest in healthy living, promoting exercise and functional activity.

Libby is based at our MOTIONrehab® Hull clinic, as well as within a community setting within Hull & East Riding and North Lincolnshire

Libby’s experience includes but is not limited to Vesitbular Rehabilitation, Acquired Brain Injury, Balance and Coordination problems, Cerebellar Ataxia, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Poly Trauma, Spinal Injury, Stroke, Transverse Myelitis, Traumatic Brain Injury.
