Brachial Plexus/Peripheral Nerve Physiotherapist
Suzanne Oxley graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy in 2000 from Huddersfield University and has gained exceptional experience working for Leeds Teaching hospitals NHS Trust, specialising in upper limb and reconstructive surgery. Suzanne has extensive experience in the management of peripheral nerve injuries. Including Traumatic Brachial Plexus Injury, Erb’s Palsy and Parsonage turner syndrome. She has extensive knowledge of reconstructive procedures nerve grafts, nerve transfers, tendon transfer and free functional muscle transfer and has a wealth of experience in the rehabilitation of patients following these procedures. Her work with patients following such surgeries is endorsed by some of the leading Surgeons in the field.
Suzanne uses a variety of treatment approaches to achieve patients’ goals. Providing appropriate rehabilitation programmes and advice following surgical or non surgical management.
Suzanne is actively involved in current research programmes concerning Peripheral nerve injury and presents work both in the UK and internationally.
