KATE'S STORY

Stroke Rehabilitation

After experiencing a stroke and being diagnosed with Locked-in Syndrome, Kate was unable to move or speak — and faced an incredibly tough road to recovery.

When Kate started her journey with MOTIONrehab in October 2023, her goal was clear: to become more independent and reduce the support she needed at home.

Her tailored intensive rehabilitation programme included a combination of hands-on therapy, LEXO robotics and exercise sessions.

Since then, Kate has:

Got onto the bed independently
Mastered the stairs at home
Stepped in and out of the house without needing a wheelchair
