Marlon Achieves Another Rehabilitation Goal – Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation

When Marlon came to MOTIONrehab at the end of November 2018, he needed a wheelchair and full assistance for transfers.

By the beginning of February Marlon surprised his family and friends by taking his first steps supported by two therapists

By June Marlon was able to walk around the clinic with very minimal support.

In July Marlon managed to jump for the first time and took his first steps outside.

Marlon has been attending MOTIONrehab’s Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Programme and has worked incredibly hard to achieve his goals. It’s fair to say everyone is incredibly proud of Marlon!

MOTIONrehab’s Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Centre is unique to any other neurological rehabilitation company. The centre based in Leeds is the UK’s first and only Intensive Outpatient & Residential* Neurological Rehabilitation Facility augmented by Robotics and Virtual Reality. The centre includes a range of upper and lower limb robotics and virtual reality technology from Tyromotion and Thera-Trainer.

The MOTIONrehab centre is the only location within UK with all of these particular devices, giving the clinic International Reference Centre Status for treatment, teaching and research.
