MOTIONrehab has been featured in Growth Yorkshire an online a business portal website for Yorkshire businesses.

MOTIONrehab was featured following a Northern MAX, a three-month accelerator programme that launched in January with the aim of bringing together medical specialists to help local businesses to capitalise on the region’s market opportunities. MOTIONrehab is celebrated as its latest success story.

With the assistance of Northern MAX, MOTIONrehab acquired an Innovation Grant from the LEP as well as the AD:VENTURE Business Start-up grant which has helped fund the Robotic and Virtual Reality devices.

Created through the European Regional Development support programme, AD:VENTURE and supported by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, the Northern Max programme targeted high growth start-ups trading for less than three years within the digital health and medical tech spheres.

Delivered by DHEZ and Innovative Minds, Northern MAX’s tailored package relied on collaboration, while vital connections with the NHS, funders and research institutions were crucial to the programme’s success.

Ravinder Panesar, Digital Health Enterprise Advisor at DHEZ comments: “Helping businesses to realise their ambitions, while reinforcing the importance of using technology as a vehicle to innovate within the digital health sector, is why I’m so proud to be a part of this programme.”
