Lilly’s Jason’s and Liz Liversidge’s story featured in The Sun. The article shares the touching footage of Lilly beaming as dad Jason takes his first steps using Thera-Trainer LYRA at MOTIONrehab’s Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Leeds.

Lilly was just two when Jason, 41, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and used an electromechanical-assisted gait to help him walk. Touching footage shows Lilly beaming as her dad tentatively walks at MOTIONrehab – the UK’s first intensive outpatient and residential neurological rehab clinic.

Her mum Liz, from Rise, East Yorks, told the Hull Daily Mail: “He’s in training for his next adventure.

“Neither of the girls can remember him walking independently, sadly. When he was diagnosed Lilly was 22 months old and Poppy was four and a half months old.

“Lilly was amazed. The look on her face said it all.”

Since Jason was diagnosed with the debilitating disease, Jason has climbed Mount Snowden and abseiled the Humber Bridge despite being wheelchair-bound.

It showed them enjoying archery, rock climbing and air swinging.
