Hello my name is Wesley Trowell and I’m the Founder and Managing Director of Video Input, a new company based in Hull, UK.
I have Athetoid Cerebral Palsy which affects my arms and legs so I use an electric wheelchair to get around . I’m unable to talk so I have a communication aid via a head switch, which enables me to talk electronically. I find some tasks challenging, but with support and guidance I can find an alternative way of doing them. I am a very enthusiastic individual with a passion for video and music production. I work on Apple and use iMovie, Garageband and Pro Tools with support from Richard to complete the tasks. I’m currently completing the BA in Music Production. I receive support to enable me to do this because of my disability. I love all kinds of music and my creative interests and enthusiasm defy my disability.
I have recently worked with clients including a Children’s Yoga Practitioner, Physiotherapist and self employed individuals. I have worked with them to produce videos and clips to use as promotional material, photos and unique music. On completion of my course, I plan to be creating and building my new business producing music and video for a variety of companies locally and internationally. The recent lockdown has been a challenge to gain the footage for the video but with a lot of dedication and determination I feel I have produced a professional video that can be put on Social Media to promote MotionRehab.
