On Wednesday 17th July, MOTIONrehab were pleased to welcome Stephen Ruffle the National Sales Manager at ReWalk Robotics to MOTIONrehab's Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Leeds. 

Stephen bought along the latest device from ReWalk the ReStore Soft Exo-Suit for stroke rehabilitation. The ReStore is a powered, lightweight soft exo-suit intended for use in the rehabilitation of people with lower limb disability due to stroke. It’s soft design combines natural movements with plantarflexion and dorsiflexion assistance that adaptively synchronise with the patient’s own gait to facilitate functional gait training.

Both patients and MOTIONrehab’s Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist were able to try the new ReStore and see the real time feedback.

The new NICE guideline on Rehabilitation for chronic neurological disorders including acquired brain injury published 15 Oct 2025 recommends using robotics, gaming modalities and virtual reality to help people engage with training and exercises that improve stability, mobility and limb function. This marks a major endorsement of the technology-driven rehabilitation approach pioneered by MOTIONrehab since 2018, integrating robotics and immersive gaming to enhance engagement, intensity and outcomes in neurorehab.
