Emily Waring

Neurological Physiotherapist

Emily completed her pre-registration Physiotherapy Masters degree at Leeds Beckett University in February 2019 receiving the Dean’s Prize for Academic Excellence and a distinction in a postgraduate module in advancing Practice in Neurological Therapy. Since graduating she worked as a Physiotherapist on the inpatient stroke and rehabilitation unit within the NHS.

She has completed regular post-graduate training including the completion of the Bobath introductory modules and attendance at the Upper Limb Neurorehabilitation Course at the UCL Partners Centre for Neurorehabilitation.

Prior to training as a physiotherapist Emily worked as a research scientist gaining her PhD in Molecular Biology. She continues to have an interest in research, presenting the results of her pre-registration Masters research project at different events.

Emily utilises her wide range of skills to provide a rounded approach to her clinical treatment, supporting clients in the community and the Leeds clinic.
