James Osborne
Doncaster Clinic Manager Neurological Physiotherapist
James Osborne is an experienced neurological and rehabilitation physiotherapist. He has extensive training in the Bobath approach to physiotherapy. James is passionate about combining the knowledge and skills learned from this Bobath training with technology and a more functional approach to rehabilitation to provide a varied, engaging and effective approach to his physiotherapy.
James’ special interests are:
- Spinal Injuries,
- Stroke Rehabilitation
- Traumatic Brain Injury and
- Complex Trauma.
Qualifying in 2007 from Manchester Metropolitan University, James spent his formative years as a physiotherapist, working in the NHS at the Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust. Spending 2 years as a rotational physiotherapist, prior to spending 3 years as a specialist neurological physiotherapist, before moving into the private sector.
James has over 12 years experience in the private sector treating patients with a variety of conditions including those with neurological conditions, orthopaedic & trauma, elderly rehabilitation, amputees and other complex injuries. Throughout this period one of James’ passions is to work as part of a wider professional team and in doing so collaborate and support these other professionals in delivering the most holistic approach to his patients’ rehabilitation. Thus, enabling those people living with long-term neurological conditions and injuries to live the most fulfilled life possible.
James has developed specialist interest in the use of technology, robotics and specialist orthotics to assist with the rehabilitation you receive and is passionate about ensuring these are used appropriately to enhance your outcomes and quality of life.
